  1. Remove all distractions. If that means placing your phone in a different room while studying, then do it! You will be a lot more productive and get more done in less time. Find a quiet space to eliminate television noise or even family, if it could be distracting.

  2. Stay organized. Keep a planner with all your assignments, tests, homework, projects, due dates, school events and anything else you think is important.

  3. Pay attention in class and ask questions. Understanding what is taught in class will help save time during while studying.

  4. Find an effective time frame to study. An effective technique use is the Pomodoro Technique, which uses a timer to break down work into intervals, usually 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks.

  5. Make the most out of your notes. Personalize them in a way that makes sense to you. Highlight and underline key words, use different colours, use outlines visual aids or whatever else helps you understand and remember the material

I hope these tips help in some way and can help you make the most of your high school experience. But always remember to have fun and enjoy the experience.
